Subject to the provisions of this charter the Board of Surveyors shall exercise the powers and perform the duties vested in and imposed upon it by statute or ordinance.

Purposes: The historical and technical functions of the Board of Surveyors are continued substantially as at present subject to provisions of the Charter of general application and the powers and duties vested in the City Planning Commission.
