§ 14-1628.  Demolition Moratorium in Queen Village. 618
   (1)   Definition. For purposes of this Section, "Queen Village" shall include all properties within the following boundary: the area bounded on the north by the south side of Lombard Street, on the west by the east side of Fifth Street, on the south by the north side of Washington Street, and on the east by the Delaware River.
   (2)   No demolition of any building or other structure within Queen Village shall be permitted, unless (i) such demolition is necessary to abate an imminently dangerous condition as determined by the Department of Licenses and Inspections, (ii) a building permit for such demolition is obtained in accordance with all provisions of § 14-2007(7) and the regulations issued pursuant to that Section, applying those provisions as if Queen Village were a designated historic district, or (iii) either a zoning and use registration permit for such demolition or a building permit for such demolition was issued prior to April 15, 2004.

Bill No. 050189 (approved May 19, 2005) amended Section 2 of Bill No. 040369 to read: "The provisions of this Ordinance shall expire on December 31, 2005." Then, Bill No. 060055 (approved April 6, 2006) amended Section 2 of Bill No. 050189 to read: "The provisions of this Ordinance shall expire June 30, 2006."
