Upon connecting to the city water supply system, existing wells shall be abandoned and plugged within 30 days in accordance with the requirements of the State Public Health Code (Public Act 368 of 1978, being M.C.L.A. §§ 333.1101 et seq., as amended) and administrative rules adopted pursuant thereto.
