(A) The permit referred to in § 112.01 shall be valid for one week unless sooner revoked. Such a permit may be revoked by the Village Clerk after notice and hearing for the following reasons:
(1) Fraud, misrepresentation, or false statement contained in the application for permit;
(2) Fraud, misrepresentation, or false statement made in the course of carrying on his or her business as a peddler;
(3) Conviction of any crime or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude;
(4) Conducting the business of peddling in an unlawful manner or in such a manner as to constitute a breach of the peace or to constitute a menace to the health, safety, or general welfare of the public; and/or
(5) Conducting the business of peddling outside of the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
(B) Notice of the hearing shall be given in writing, setting forth specifically the grounds of complaint and the time and place of hearing, which notice shall be personally served on the permittee by a police officer designated by the Village Clerk for that purpose at least 24 hours prior to the time set for hearing, or shall be mailed to the permittee at his or her last known address at least ten days prior to said time.
