§ 110.21 PROCEDURE TO OBTAIN LICENSE.
   (A)   Any person wishing to obtain a plumber’s license shall file in the office of the Village Clerk, an application, in writing, asking to become a licensed plumber and stating his or her willingness to be governed in all respects by the ordinances of said village and all rules and regulations now in effect or hereafter to be adopted by said village concerning the water and sewer systems of said village. Said application shall be accompanied by a copy of the plumber’s general liability policy.
   (B)   Applications shall be received by the Village Clerk and, upon the Clerk being satisfied of the business capacity, qualifications, and good reputation of the applicant, and of his or her worthiness to receive a license, and upon payment to the Village Clerk of the license fee of $25, and filing with the Village Clerk of a bond with corporate surety in the penal sum of no less than $10,000, conditioned upon his or her indemnifying and keeping harmless said village from all liability for any damage arising from any negligence or unskillful act in doing or protecting his or her work, or from any unfaithful or inadequate work done in pursuance of his or her license, and conditioned that he or she will restore the streets, alleys, sidewalks, and pavements over the pipes he or she may lay, and fill all excavations made so as to leave said streets, alleys, sidewalks, and pavements in as good condition as found, and keep and maintain the same in good order to the satisfaction of the Street Commissioner for the period of one year next thereafter, and that he or she will pay all fines that may be imposed for any violation of the ordinances, rules, and regulations adopted by said village, and in force during the term of his or her license, the Clerk may grant to such applicant a license, authorizing the applicant to engage in business as a licensed plumber in said village for and during the then current municipal year. Said license and bond shall cover all employees of the applicant.
