Traffic on the streets and alleys of the village shall at all times be subject to the directions of the duly constituted police officers of the village, and all orders given verbally by any police officer or traffic officer of the said village shall be observed and obeyed, with any traffic or parking regulations prescribed by the Chairperson and Board of said village, and communicated by means of conspicuous signs placed upon the streets, shall be observed and obeyed by owners and operators of motor vehicles. In case of a conflict between the provisions of this traffic code and any orders and regulations communicated by signs placed conspicuously on the streets, the latter shall prevail and supersede the provisions of this traffic code.
