The Water Commissioner shall be ex-officio Sewer Inspector for the village, who shall have general supervision of the sanitary and storm sewer systems and the sewage disposal plant. It shall be his or her duty to supervise all building of laterals and determine the grades therefor, and give permits for and supervise all sewer connections. He or she shall receive such compensation as the Board shall from time to time determine.
