For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MATTER. Any book, magazine, newspaper, or other printed or written material; any picture, drawing, photograph, motion picture or other pictorial presentation; any statue or other figure; any recording, transcription, or mechanical, chemical, or electrical reproduction, including but not limited to video tape or video cassette tape; or any other articles, equipment, machines or materials.
NUDITY. The showing of the human male or female genitals, pubic area, or buttocks with less than a full opaque covering; the showing of the female breast with less than a fully opaque covering or any part of the nipple; or the depiction of covered male genitals in a discernibly turgid state.
OBSCENE. A matter is OBSCENE if:
(l) The average person, applying contemporary community standards, finds that the dominant theme of the matter, taken as a whole, appeals to the prurient interest in sex;
(2) The matter depicts or describes, in a patently offensive way, either sexual conduct or nudity; and
(3) The matter, taken as a whole, lacks serious literary, artistic, political, or scientific value.
SADO-MASOCHISTIC ABUSE. Flagellation or torture by or upon a person as an act of sexual stimulation or gratification.
SELL. To transfer possession for consideration or to offer the same for transfer of possession, for consideration.
SEXUAL CONDUCT. Sexual intercourse or deviate sexual conduct; exhibition of the uncovered genitals in the context of masturbation or other sexual activities; exhibition of the uncovered genitals of a person under 16 years of age; sado-masochistic abuse; or sexual intercourse or deviate sexual conduct with an animal.
