The applicant shall tender with the application a good and sufficient bond in the sum as set from time to time by the legislative authority, payable to the city with sureties to be approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety covering the period of time for which the license may be issued and any and all renewals thereof, and conditioned for the faithful and honest performance on the part of the applicant pertaining to his duties as a journeyman electrician. The bond shall state that the applicant will observe and obey all the terms, conditions, and regulations of this chapter, as well as the rules and regulations of the National Board of Fire Underwriters as the same may exist from time to time, and further conditioned for the payment by the applicant of all damages incurred to any property owner on whose property the applicant may work, and for the payment of all damages which may be incurred by the city because of the applicant, and further conditioned to save the city harmless from loss or damages by reason of the negligence of the journeyman electrician or apprentice, incurred by reason of his engaging in any electrical work or wiring.
