§ 93.07 FAILURE TO COMPLY.
If the owner fails to cut and remove the weeds or other rank vegetation within ten days after mailing the notice, the Board of Public Works and Safety shall direct the Superintendent of Public Works to have the weeds and other rank vegetation cut and removed by city employees, and to present the cost of labor and materials involved to the Clerk-Treasurer. On filing the statement of cost of the cutting and removal with the Clerk-Treasurer, the cost, together with the sum of $10 for each lot for costs, shall thereby become a lien in favor of the city on the real estate until paid.
