The Traffic Department Supervisor, under the direction and supervision of the Board of Public Works and Safety, is authorized, from time to time, to conduct engineering and traffic investigations, and as a result thereof, to designate any intersection as a "yield right-of-way" intersection and erect "yield right-of-way" signs at one or more entrances to these intersections on streets and highways under their jurisdiction within the city.
