(A) Establishment. There is hereby established a fund to be known as the Non- Reverting Opioid Settlement Restricted Use Fund, Fund 2257.
(B) Sources of funding. The source of funding includes restricted use monies allocated to the city from the Opioid Settlement restricted use distributions distributed to the city.
(C) Uses of funding.
(1) The city shall only appropriate and use the funds as approved by the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
(2) The city shall adopt a plan which provides details for the use of funds.
(D) Amendments. This section may be amended from time to time if additional guidance is received from any federal or state agency.
(E) Duration of fund. The Nonreverting Opioid Settlement Restricted Use Fund shall exist until terminated by ordinance of the Common Council. Moneys from this fund may not be transferred to another fund of the city.
