At the discretion of the City Attorney, in consultation with the Clerk-Treasurer, unpaid fines owed to the Ordinance Violations Bureau may be turned over to a collection agency after an account is at least 90 days past due. When such accounts are turned over to a collection agency, an additional fee of up to 30% of the underlying fine may be added to the account, which fee shall reimburse the collection agency for its services. This Section also applies to unpaid traffic ordinance fines owed to the Traffic Violations Bureau under PMC Chapter 74.
