§ 33.062 WEATHER CONDITIONS.
   (A)   The city will remain open during most periods of inclement weather; however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, the city reserves the right to close the facility. Thus, employees are encouraged to monitor broadcasts and/or websites during periods of adverse weather to find out if the facility is open or closed on a given day. The city makes a decision by 7:00 a.m. during periods of such inclement weather and communicates this to local media.
   (B)   If the facility remains open in inclement weather, you may decide whether you will show up for work. If you elect not to work, you must call your immediate supervisor to let us know.
   (C)   Facilities closed. If the facility is closed in inclement weather, all emergency employees are required to report. For non-emergency employees, all exempt-level staff will receive their regular pay for the day of closure. For hourly employees on a day of closure, an employee will receive an amount equivalent to their normal scheduled time for the day.
   (D)   Facilities open. If the facility remains open on an inclement weather day, non-emergency employees who report to work will receive their normal pay for the day (i.e., exempt staff will receive their regular salary and hourly employees will be paid at their normal rate for all hours worked). If you elect not to report to work on a day when the facility is open, you can elect to:
      (1)   Use any accrued paid time off for the missed day; or
      (2)   Receive no pay for the day.
