The city views romantic relationships between members of management and subordinates as a conflict of interest; therefore, we discourage such relationships. We do not otherwise discourage friendship or social activities among city employees. If a member of management and a subordinate are involved in or are contemplating a romantic relationship, the member of management involved must notify Human Resources immediately.
