Whoever violates any provision of this code for which another penalty is not specifically provided shall be fined not more than $2,500 for a first violation. Pursuant to IC 36-1-3-8, the maximum penalty for a second or subsequent violation is $7,500 (except for violations of ordinances that regulate traffic or parking).
