As used in this chapter:
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR INTOXICATING LIQUORS: Beer, wine, gin, whiskey, cordials, ethyl alcohol or rum, and every liquid or solid, patented or not, containing one-half of one percent or more of alcohol by volume and which is used for beverage purposes.
PLACES WHERE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE SOLD: Establishments wherein spirituous, malt or fermented liquors or wines are sold. (Ord. 63 §1, 1978)
