A. There is hereby created, pursuant to the provisions of Nevada Revised Statutes 364.010, the Pershing County business license department. The department shall be responsible primarily for the operations and administration of the county’s business license functions, as well as such other functions within the provisions of Nevada Revised Statutes 364.010, as may be assigned by the board of county commissioners.
B. The director of planning and building shall act as the administrator of the business license department. The director may appoint, subject to approval of the board of county commissioners, such technical, clerical, and operational staff as the execution of his or her duties and the operation of the department may require.
