266.07-2 QUALIFICATION FOR HOLIDAY PAY.
   To qualify for holiday pay a staff member must have (a) worked at least one (1) of the last seven (7) work days immediately preceding the holiday unless on vacation or jury duty; and (b) worked his/her last full scheduled workday immediately preceding the holiday and next full scheduled workday following the holiday (whether or not either qualifying day is in the same workweek as the holiday), unless the staff member's failure to work either or both qualifying days is due to the staff member's being on paid time off work approved in advance by the City. For a staff member on paid sick leave only, approval in advance shall mean that the staff member notifies his/her supervisor of that absence within thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled start of the staff member's work day.
