266.04-2 PROBATIONARY PERIOD. (REPEALED)
   All employees below the Executive or Senior Administrative Staff level covered by this Personnel Policy that are not included within a collective bargaining agreement shall be considered probationary staff members during the first year of their most recent employment with the City. The probationary period may be extended an additional one (1) ninety (90) calendar day period by the City upon written notice to the staff member before the end of the initial probationary period. All employees below the Executive or Senior Administrative Staff level covered by the Personnel Policy that are not included within a collective bargaining agreement shall receive an evaluation given at or near the end of the first six months. During probation, staff members covered by the Personnel Policy may be separated from employment or disciplined without recourse to the dispute settlement procedure for any reason and will receive no benefits other than health insurance benefits except as may be statutorily required. Upon successful completion of the probationary period a staff member will receive length of service credit retroactive to the staff members’ most recent date of hire.
