242.06 QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES AND APPOINTMENT OF MUNICIPAL COURT PROSECUTOR.
   (a)   There is hereby established the position of Municipal Court Prosecutor.
   (b)   The Municipal Court Prosecutor shall be an attorney-at-law admitted to the practice of law by the Supreme Court of Ohio.
   (c)   The Municipal Court Prosecutor shall prosecute all affidavits and all proceedings in the Perrysburg Municipal Court involving misdemeanors and crimes committed within the jurisdiction of the Court; represent the City or the State, as the case may be, in the prosecution thereof before such Court, and advise and confer with police officers and other peace officers of the City and any other governmental entity within the jurisdiction of the Court, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and such other persons as may have or seek recourse to the criminal processes of the Perrysburg Municipal Court.

   (d)   The Municipal Court Prosecutor shall be appointed by and be subject to removal at any time by the Director of Law, in each instance, however, subject to the approval and consent of the Mayor and a majority of the members of Council.
