(a) Owners of all premises, except vacant land, shall display the street address of the premises in a conspicuous place visible and legible from the public right-of-way to which the address applies. In the case of premises such as a condominium, where the City has assigned an address on a private street, the foregoing requirements shall apply relative to the private street rather than a public right-of-way. Determination concerning the legibility of such address shall be made by the Fire Chief.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day a violation continues after service of notice. (Ord. 115-98. Passed 8-4-98.)
