The Planning Commission shall consist of the Mayor and six (6) electors of the City not holding other City office. The members of such Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by a majority of the members of City Council. The terms of the members of the Planning Commission, other than the Mayor, shall be appointed for a term of four (4) years and shall terminate on December 31st. A vacancy occurring during the term of any member of such Planning Commission shall be filled for the unexpired term in the manner authorized for an original appointment. No member shall be appointed for more than two (2) consecutive full terms. Any member who misses more than three (3) consecutive meetings or more than one-half (1/2) of the meetings in any calendar year shall be deemed to have vacated his or her position and shall be replaced.
