(a) No person shall purposely, knowingly or recklessly, by hand or by means of a slingshot, bow, air gun or other similar device, throw, shoot, cast or sling any stone, arrow, pellet or other similar missile. Provided, however, archery classes conducted by a non-profit corporation and supervised by a certified instructor shall be exempt from this section.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02. (Ord. 97-73. Passed 12-27-73.)
