(a) No person in a residential area shall repair, rebuild or test any motor vehicle or nonstationary source in such a manner as to cause excessive or offensive noise.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and a misdemeanor of the fourth degree for any subsequent offense. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02. (Ord. 77-83. Passed 9-20-83.)
