(a) No person shall create loud and excessive noise in connection with loading or unloading vehicles or opening and/or destroying bales, boxes, crates and containers. If any noise for any duration is seven dBA or more over the fixed source noise level for the zone, when measured at the closest property line of the property generating the noise, between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. of the next day, then the noise shall be deemed excessive.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor for a first offense and a misdemeanor of the fourth degree for any subsequent offense. Punishment shall be as provided in Section 698.02. (Ord. 77-83. Passed 9-20-83.)
