(a) There is hereby created in the Village of Perry, a Mayor's Court.
(b) The Mayor's Court of the Village of Perry shall be operated pursuant to the authority of Ohio R.C. 1905.01 et seq. In keeping the dockets and files of the Mayor's Court, the Mayor shall be governed by the laws pertaining to County Courts.
(c) The operation of the Mayor's Court shall be in accordance with and subject to the limitations of Ohio R.C. 2937.08 and 2938.04 and the "Rules of Practice and Procedure in Traffic Cases for all Courts inferior to Common Pleas", as amended.
(d) The Mayor's Court shall be held at the Perry Village Hall, 4203 Harper Street, Perry, Ohio or at such other place as Council may from time to time designate by ordinance. Sessions of Court shall be held from time to time as determined by Rules of Court promulgated by the Mayor. The Rules of Court promulgated by the Mayor shall be consistent with law and shall promote the efficient administration of the Court.
