(A) If the Sheriff’s Department provides fingerprinting services to members of the public upon request, the Sheriff’s Department may charge a fee of $3 to each member of the public requesting such services.
(B) The revenues collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited into a special fund established and maintained by the County Auditor know as the County Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund.
(C) The amounts claimed for expenditures by the Sheriff’s Department from the County Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund do not require appropriation prior to expenditure, and may be utilized by the Sheriff’s Department for law enforcement continuing education.
