This Charter shall be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City of Perry at the primary election to be held on Tuesday, August 2, 1988. This election shall be conducted by the officers under the existing City Charter charged with the conduct and supervision of elections, following usual election procedures; and the Election Commission shall prepare the necessary ballots therefor, or in lieu thereof make use of voting machines.
