No person shall damage, destroy or deface, or aid in the damage, destruction or defacement of, any public school building, or the grounds, fences, trees, buses, equipment, appurtenances or fixtures of school property. If any person under eighteen years of age is found to have willfully damaged, destroyed or defaced school property, the parent or legal guardian of such person shall be presumed to have acquiesced or approved of such action and shall be deemed guilty of a violation of this chapter in like manner as the actual participant.
