A. It shall be unlawful for any person, except one duly authorized by the city manager or a member of the fire department, to open, turn off or on, interfere with, attach any pipe or hose to, or connect any thing with any fire hydrant or stop cock belonging to the city.
B. It shall be unlawful for any person to obstruct access to any fire hydrant by playing around or placing thereon brick, lumber, dirt or other things, or in any other manner. (2010 Code § 19-20)
