A. Notification Of Correct Number: The city shall give reasonable and proper notice to the occupant of each building or structure, as it deems necessary, notifying such occupant of the correct number of the structure occupied by him, and notifying such occupant of the date by which the occupant shall properly place such number on the structure occupied by him. A copy of such notice shall be, at the same time, mailed to the U.S. post office, all public utilities and the city clerk.
B. Display Required: At the time designated in such notice, the occupant shall place the proper number upon such building or structure. Such number shall be displayed so as to be in sharp contrast with its surroundings and easily read from the street directly in front of the building or structure. (2010 Code § 20-3)
