5-1-6: STATUS OF POLICE RESERVE MEMBER:
A.   Probation; Rights; Benefits: The duly appointed members of the police reserve organization shall be on a probationary status for a minimum period of one year from the date of their appointment, after which time the chief of police may commission them as permanent reserve police officers. Members of the police reserve shall serve at the pleasure of the city manager and upon termination, for any reason, shall have no appeal rights and no access to the review revisions of the personnel policy for the city, nor shall any police reserve member be given any of the benefits or rights of the city personnel policy.
B.   Compliance With Regulations: Police reserve members shall be required to comply with all rules and regulations promulgated by the Oklahoma council on law enforcement education and training, as provided for in 70 Oklahoma Statutes section 3311, as amended. (2010 Code § 1-34)
