A. A burn permit shall be obtained from the fire chief or his designee prior to burning. Such permits shall only be issued between eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and five o'clock (5:00) P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
B. A burn permit shall be valid for no more than one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of issuance.
C. A burn permit shall not be issued during a burn ban or a red flag fire alert and such permit shall become void in the event that a burn ban or a red flag fire alert is ordered after such permit is issued. (2010 Code § 1-50.4; amd. Ord. 480, 9-12-2019)
