As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meaning respectively ascribed to them in this section:
COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS: Any substance which will readily burn.
DOMESTIC REFUSE: Any refuse produced during normal daily household operations.
LAND MANAGEMENT: Activities that improve the condition of a land area or reduces the threat of uncontrolled wildfires.
OPEN BURNING: The burning of any materials wherein products of combustion are emitted directly into the ambient air without passing through a stack or chimney from an enclosed chamber.
OWNER: The owner of record as shown by the most current tax rolls of the county treasurer.
REFUSE: Garbage, rubbish, domestic refuse and all other wastes generated by a trade, business, industry, building operation or household.
YARD BRUSH: Cut or broken branches, leaves, limbs, shrubbery or tree trimmings. It does not include refuse, grass clippings, inground tree stumps or any nonvegetative material. (2010 Code § 1-50.1)
