Any person desiring to engage in any activity mentioned in this chapter shall make written application to the city clerk for a license to do so, which application shall show proof of identity, the name and address of the person the applicant represents, the kind of goods offered for sale and whether the applicant, upon any sale or order, shall demand or accept a payment or deposit of money in advance of the final delivery, and the length of time for which the right to do business is desired. This application shall also contain any other requirements of information previously specified in other sections of this chapter. (2010 Code § 5-5)
