All licensees are responsible for the actions of their employees, agents, and other representatives in regard to the sale, offer to sell, and furnishing of licensed products on the licensed premises. The sale, offer to sell, or furnishing of any licensed product by an employee or other representative of a licensee shall be considered an act of both the employee or representative and the licensee. Nothing in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the city from also subjecting a licensee's employee, agent, or other representative to any civil penalties or criminal prosecution that the city deems to be appropriate under this chapter, state or federal law, or other applicable law or regulation.
