The city is authorized to enter into joint powers agreements pursuant to M.S. § 471.59, as it may be amended from time to time, for the collection, administration, or disposition of the proceeds of any lodging tax imposed by a resolution of a separate political subdivision provided such collection, administration, or disposition does not violate the terms of this chapter.
