(A) Once such notice is given, the alleged violator may, within ten days of the time of issuance of the notice, pay the amount set forth on the schedule of penalties for the violation or may request a hearing in writing, as is provided hereafter. The penalty may be paid in person, or by mail, and payment shall be deemed to be an admission of the violation.
(B) Payment of the administrative penalty shall not relieve the violator of their obligations or prevent the city from taking such actions as may be necessary to correct immediate threats to health and safety or abate nuisances. Any such actions shall be taken in accordance with applicable ordinances and statutes.
