(A) All sidewalks hereafter to be constructed in the city, unless otherwise specially ordered by the City Council, shall be constructed as follows:
(1) Ten feet: Main Street from Third Avenue S.E. to Third Avenue S.W., Second Street from Second Avenue S.E. to Third Avenue S.W., and Second Avenue S.E., Second Avenue S.W. and Third Avenue S.W. between Main Street and Second Street.
(2) Five feet: All others a minimum of 5 feet.
(B) Sidewalks not constructed in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter shall not be accepted by the Public Works Supervisor unless specifically authorized by the City Council.
