A septic tank shall be cleaned at intervals not greater than three years. Any septic tank that discharges settleable solids shall be cleaned immediately upon such condition arising. Upon notice by the Inspector of Buildings of the existence of such condition, the owner or occupant of the premises shall cause the tank to be cleaned within thirty days thereafter.
