There is hereby established the office of Clerk of the Mayor's Court who shall also be known as the Deputy Clerk. The Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council, shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and shall perform such clerical work in connection with the Mayor's Court as the Mayor shall require.
The Clerk of the Mayor's Court shall also assist the Clerk of Council by the performance of such clerical duties as the Clerk of Council may assign and which will not conflict with the work required by the Mayor.
