(a) Building Permit Required. A building permit shall be obtained from the Inspector of Buildings for the installation of driveway lights upon providing him or her with such plans and specifications as may be reasonably required to show the location of the proposed lighting and materials, after payment of the fee required in Section 1446.01

(b) Wattage.
(1) Fixtures emitting rays above the horizontal shall be limited to fifteen (15) watts of incandescent type lamps or the equivalent light output for other light sources.
(2) Fixtures emitting rays horizontally or below shall be limited to forty (40) watts of incandescent type lamps or the equivalent light output for other light sources.
(c) Fixtures in Right of Way. No fixtures shall be permitted in any street right of way.
(d) Lamp Placement. The center of the electric lamp bulb shall not be placed more than twenty-four inches above grade.
