(a) Training Required. Commencing in 2013 and each year thereafter the City shall not issue a license to any commercial landscaper that has not had a representative attend a training session that teaches environmentally beneficial landscaping.
(b) Training Options.
(1) A live environmentally beneficial landscaping training session shall be presented by the City at no charge to the attendees.
(2) If a commercial landscaper cannot attend the live environmentally beneficial landscaping training session, a video recording the annual training session may be viewed by a representative of a commercial landscaper in order to comply with the training requirement.
A. Such viewing shall be monitored by a City employee and a fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be paid for each such a viewing.
B. For purposes of the viewing fee, a viewing may be attended by the representative of more than one commercial landscaper and a single fee shall be charged and, by agreement of the attendees, divided among the attendees.
