The bacterial quality of water in the pool shall be maintained so that no two successive samples or more than fifteen percent of any number of successive samples shall contain more than 200 aerogenes coli group bacteria per cubic centimeter, these being the gas-forming type of bacteria causing typhoid and dysentery. The Inspector of Buildings may require samples to be taken and submitted for tests whenever he or she considers it necessary for the safe operation of the pool.
