1446.53 PROFESSIONAL FEES AND DEPOSIT.
   (a)   The fees and deposit for professional services necessary to review commercial developments shall be as follows:
      (1)   Fee: Hourly rate charged to the City for applicable professional services by the City’s Engineer, Law Director, Planning Consultant or any other professional necessary to advise the City regarding the proposed development.
      (2)   Deposit:
         A.   Five thousand dollars - for the renovation of existing facilities or the construction of a single commercial building.
         B.   Thirty thousand dollars - for a new development involving more than one new commercial building.
   (b)   In the event the professional services exceed the deposit provided for in subsection (a) hereof, the permit holder shall replenish the deposit upon the request of the Building Commissioner and shall be responsible for reimbursing the City for fees paid to its professionals. The remainder of the deposit shall be released upon either the request for approval of the development being withdrawn or upon the issuance of occupancy permits for all of the buildings of the approved project.
