The fee for a permit for HVAC work shall be as follows:
(1) For the first 250,000 BTU input | $75.00 |
(2) For each 1,000 BTU over 250,000 | $15.00 |
(3) For the installation or replacement of furnaces, hot water heaters or similar devices | $50.00 |
(4) Overhead Heaters and Wall Heaters | $40.00 |
(5) Additional duct work or alterations to existing heating systems | $50.00 |
(6) Gas or electric central air conditioning systems, including heat pumps, each compressor unit (new or replacement) | $75.00 |
(7) Combustion heating and air conditioning units: | |
First 150,000 BTU unit | $40.00 |
Over 150,001 BTU unit | $100.00 |
