1440.09 RIGHT OF ENTRY.
   The Inspector of Buildings, or any of his or her authorized agents, may at any reasonable hour, enter any residential dwelling within the City to perform any duty imposed on him or her by this Chapter or state law, provided that he or she presents proper credentials and obtains consent to enter from both the owner and occupant. If consent to enter is refused, or is otherwise unobtainable, a warrant must be obtained as provided in Section 1440.02 before such entry or inspection is made.
