1248.11 STREET NAME SIGNS.
   Street name signs shall be furnished and installed by the owner of the subdivision if a new street is planned. The letters and numerals shall be either three or four inches high, set on a reflecting material. The signs shall be mounted at a height of approximately seven feet above the top of the curb. Metal posts are desired. Placement of signs shall be in accordance with the Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways and placed on diagonally opposite corners, on the far right-hand side of the intersection for traffic on the more important street, and as close to the corner as possible.
