1042.01 TAP-IN FEES FOR NEW SANITARY SEWER CONNECTION TO CITY SEWER SYSTEM.
   (a)    Tap-in Fee for All City Sewers. No person shall tap into any of the City's sanitary sewer lines unless the appropriate Base Sewer Fee to tap-in, along with the appropriate amount of interest thereon and any other applicable tap-in fees with interest (e.g. the Creekside Fee), are first paid to the City.
   (b)    Calculation of Base Sewer Fee. A Base Sewer Fee of three thousand dollars ($3,000), for a residence (which is the standard, residential tap-in fee that assumes a typical residence uses about four hundred (400) gallons of water per day), or a proportional Base Sewer Fee for non-residential use based upon the then current established county standards for projecting water usage for non-residential uses.
   (c)    Interest. In addition to the Base Sewer Fee set forth in this section, there shall also be an additional two percent (2%) per annum interest charge levied on the base fee, with the interest calculation commencing January 1, 2014. (Ord. 2018-08. Passed 4-18-18.)
